Marriage in Hawaii

Allison and Adam had a great time visiting Hawaii in late August/early September of 2009. This trip served two purposes; to have some fun and enjoy some much needed rest, and to meet with vendors and plan our wedding. The most essential task was to decide upon a location, and after looking at a couple of beautiful places, we were still unsure of where our wedding would be. But when we visited the third and final place we knew instantly that it was the one.

So, to bring an end to the suspense, we have chosen the beautiful Bayer Estate for our wedding ceremony. The Bayer Estate is a cozy oceanfront property in the East Honolulu community of Aina Haina on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. The estate itself features a beautiful Victorian-style house and decor, and the tropical palm trees of the grounds set against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean provide the perfect canvas for an intimate and memorable wedding ceremony and celebration.

The date of our ceremony is October 29th, 2010, and the event will take place from 4pm until 9pm. The event will start off with a non-denominational ceremony performed by Reverend Alice Inoue. Afterwards, guests will be treated to hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and dinner provided by Kahala Caterers, followed by a truly unique cake made by Cake Lava. Live entertainment will be provided by professional DJ, Troy Michael, who will be bringing with him a wide and diverse selection of music.

We cannot think of a more beautiful, romantic place for our wedding ceremony than the Bayer Estate. We are truly excited to celebrate this very special occasion with the people that mean so much to us; our friends and family!
